- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in finance, real estate, business administration, community development, urban planning, marketing, economics, or closely related field.
- 1-5 years of relevant experience working in community development; real estate management, development, and financing; land use planning and policy; or related industries.
- Problem-solving skills and a creative, solutions-oriented mindset.
- People skills with the ability to form trusting relationships, work collaboratively and transparently with colleagues, inspire confidence in a wide range of settings, and interact effectively with a wide variety of individuals.
- Relevant experience at collecting and analyzing data; researching and preparing original content; and presenting program and project findings in a clear and ethical manner to executive leadership, public and private sector stakeholders, and the general public.
- Business presence and acumen with the demonstrated ability to provide information and data and articulate an informed point-of-view.
- Some familiarity with general principles of economic development and city, urban, rural, and community and neighborhood planning, especially in Utah.
- Demonstrable commitment to principles of diversity, equity, and inclusion and to encouraging input from people representing a wide range of backgrounds and interests.
- Excellent track record of putting team, partner, and community priorities ahead of individual interests in professional settings and assignments.
