We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Operations Director to lead our West Region operations. This role is responsible for overseeing all regional operations activities, including production, manufacturing, and maintenance, to ensure business objectives are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Lead a team of Area Operation Managers and be directly responsible for plant operations, distribution, safety, compliance, and quality.
  • Operational Oversight
    • Oversee all production and distribution activities for plants and internal shuttles throughout the markets.
    • Responsible for safety and compliance, including internal Linde standards, FDA, Federal, State, and local regulations.
  • Strategic Planning
    • Create and manage operational plans to achieve business objectives.
    • Develop yearly plant management operational goals and manage performance against these goals.
  • Best Practices and Continuous Improvement
    • Facilitate weekly plant expense management review calls.
    • Manage regional monthly safety trend charts.
    • Manage and distribute monthly plant KPI actuals charts.
    • Monthly RVP operational reporting.
  • Communication and Collaboration
    • Coordinate and facilitate activities and commitments with the sales organization.
    • Ensure strategies are appropriately formulated and communication plans are provided.
  • Performance Management
    • Staff, train, coach, and administer performance reviews and corrective actions for subordinate employees.
    • Ensure direct staff is also staffing, training, coaching, administering performance reviews, and corrective actions down through the operations organization.
  • Strategic Independence
    • Work with strategic independence, conferring with Region and Senior Management on more complex assignments.
    • Develop documented operational planning and goals.
  • Collaboration with Corporate Functions
    • Coordinate operations and project work with corporate functions, including logistics, engineering, human resources, and finance.
    Qualifications
    • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required.
    • 5-10 years management experience.
    • Cylinder gas and Dry Ice operations experience required.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Strong MS Office skills.
    • Ability to travel a minimum of 50%.
    • Salaried: $157,500 - $175,000.
