Education Site Manager

The Education Site Manager is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of an early childhood education center. This role requires a strong understanding of early childhood education principles, as well as excellent communication and leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the daily operations of the center, including staffing, scheduling, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Provide leadership and supervision to teaching staff, ensuring high-quality instruction and care for children.
- Collaborate with the Education Director and other management team members to develop and implement program plans and policies.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards, including Head Start Program Performance Standards and NYC Department of Health and Mental Health Licensing Code.
- Monitor and evaluate program outcomes, making data-driven decisions to improve services and achieve program goals.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with parents, staff, and community partners, promoting a culture of mutual respect and collaboration.
- Stay up-to-date with best practices in early childhood education, participating in professional development opportunities and sharing knowledge with colleagues.
- Master's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in early childhood education.
- Proven track record of leadership and program management, with a focus on quality improvement and compliance.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
