We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our Float Pool team at CommonSpirit Health Mountain Region. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of surgical procedures, working closely with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities- Assist surgical teams during operative procedures, arranging and inventorying sterile equipment and supplies.
- Pass instruments and equipment to surgeons and nurses as needed.
- Prepare and move patients, sterilize and clean instruments, equipment, and rooms.
As a member of our Float Pool team, you will enjoy a range of benefits, including:

To be considered for this role, you must have:
- 1 year of hospital surgical tech experience.
- Basic computer skills.
- A high school diploma or GED.
- Completion of an approved Surgical Technician program.
- Current registration with the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA) as a surgical technologist.
- Certification in Surgical Technology from the National Board Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) or Certification as a Tech in Surgery from the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) through the American Heart Association.
