Certified Surgical Technologist

As a Surgical Tech at AdventHealth, you will play a vital role in the operating room team, working closely with surgeons, nurses, and anesthesiologists to ensure the smooth execution of surgical procedures. Your attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work under pressure will be essential in maintaining a safe and efficient operating environment.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and maintain the sterile field, ensuring all necessary instruments, equipment, and supplies are available and within reach.
- Assist the surgical team during procedures, passing instruments and supplies as needed, and maintaining a safe and organized workspace.
- Participate in pre-operative and post-operative patient care, ensuring the patient's needs are met and their safety is maintained.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure accurate and efficient communication, and to resolve any issues that may arise during procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized operating room, adhering to infection control protocols and ensuring all equipment and supplies are properly stored and maintained.
