Position Overview:

We are looking for a Universal Banker to become a vital part of our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the consumer loan process from start to finish, which includes interviewing applicants, preparing loan applications, organizing files for processing and underwriting, delivering timely and accurate disclosures to members, and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Assist members in fulfilling their financial service requirements.
  • Advocate for credit union products and services tailored to members' needs.
  • Process transactions such as share deposit payments, loan payments, and lines of credit.
  • Facilitate cash and check withdrawals.
  • Manage the daily opening, closing, and balancing of the cash drawer.
  • Perform Vault Teller duties and ensure daily ATM balance.
  • Engage in discussions to recommend new products and services.
  • Participate in outreach initiatives for the Credit Union.
  • Comply with standard regulatory procedures.
Qualifications:
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is highly preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a financial institution or customer service sector is preferred.
  • Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with both internal and external clients.
  • Willingness to travel to different branches as needed.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
