Job Title: Assistant General Manager

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Assistant General Manager to join our team at Duffy's Sports Grill. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for assisting in the planning, directing, and coordinating of all restaurant operations and personnel management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and maintain high standards of restaurant operations and conditions to ensure exceptional guest services and quality of product.
  • Oversee job performance, food and labor costs, budgets, and sales, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
  • Develop and implement effective coaching and counseling strategies to improve team performance.
  • Manage HR issues, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure SNAG compliance and maintain accurate payroll processing.
  • Train and mentor managers, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Deliver team player annual reviews and conduct orientation for new staff members.
  • Responsible for all FOH training, ensuring staff are equipped to provide exceptional guest experiences.
  • Involved in P&L management, maintaining budgeted food and beverage costs.
  • Understand General Ledger and accounts/approved vendors, ensuring accurate financial management.
  • Manage bar operations, including liquor inventory and ordering.
  • Handle cash transactions, comps, and voids, maintaining accurate cash handling procedures.
  • Enter all invoices, ensuring timely and accurate payment processing.
  • Create bartender schedules, ensuring adequate staffing and coverage.
  • Keep marketing material current, promoting the restaurant's brand and image.
  • Ensure menu spec compliance, maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Understand Health Inspections and Ecosure goals, ensuring compliance and excellence.
  • Display good judgment and maintain a positive attitude, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
