We are seeking a highly skilled Solution Architect to join our team at PNC Financial Services Group. As a Solution Architect, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing solutions that meet the business needs of our organization.
Key Responsibilities:- Evaluate requests for solution architecture services and ensure that business outcomes, problem statements, and requirements are adequately documented.
- Review requests against existing service offerings and determine Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Work with product organizations to prioritize work against competing priorities.
- Creation of draft artifacts and investigation of technologies available and other constraints involved.
- Identify additional stakeholders, both business and technology, and engage relevant vendors and technology owners.
- Creation of UML use case diagrams, component diagrams, sequence diagrams, and textual details for each step.
- Creation of Business Process Mapping Notation (BPMN) context diagrams, functional flow diagrams, cross-functional flow diagrams, and application configuration flowcharts.
- Review and evaluate options and technologies available to satisfy requested service offerings.
- Document assumptions, risks, and decisions.
- Presentation of deliverables in design reviews to all stakeholders.
- Obtain artifact approval from necessary stakeholders.
- Articulate cost/benefit or trade-off analysis.
- Formulate, document, and defend new technology strategies.
- Perform peer review of other designs.
- Working knowledge of OAuth 2.0, SAML 2.0, UML, BPMN, and other relevant technologies.
- Experience with source code using Git or similar distributed version control.
- Experience with technical documentation creation using Confluence or similar wiki systems.
- Experience with work assignment issue tracking using Jira or similar ticket systems.
- 1+ year experience in solution architecture or a related field.
- Competitive advantages, customer solutions, design, enterprise architecture framework, machine learning, risk assessments, and technical knowledge.
- Analytical thinking, effective communications, effectiveness measurement, industry knowledge, planning, problem solving, software product design/architecture, and The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF).
