About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Microbiologist to join our team at AmplifyBio

As a Quality Control Specialist, you will be responsible for performing routine environment and utilities monitoring sampling and testing, as well as conducting microbiological test procedures for GMP in process and product lot release.

You will contribute to the QC laboratory maintenance and the lab operations systems, working with QC management to continuously improve QC operations procedures and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine environment and utilities monitoring sampling and testing.
  • Conduct microbiological test procedures for GMP in process and product lot release.
  • Contribute to QC laboratory maintenance and lab operations systems.
  • Work with QC management to continuously improve QC operations procedures and systems.

Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with a Bachelor's degree in relevant biological sciences (Microbiology degree preferred) and 5+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry laboratory or in an academic laboratory.

Key Skills:

  • Experience in microbiology, environmental/utilities/personnel monitoring methods.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
