Job Title: Microbiology Technologist II

Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center is seeking an experienced Microbiology Technologist II to join our Clinical Microbiology Lab team. As a key member of our laboratory operations, you will be responsible for performing technical duties with minimal supervision, maintaining accurate records, and adhering to our laboratory's Standard Operating Procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine and advanced equipment maintenance to ensure accurate test results.
  • Assure data consistency and meet quality control guidelines.
  • Provide direction, training, and feedback on laboratory procedures as assigned.
  • Collaborate with our team to improve cancer care and advance laboratory medicine.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in clinical laboratory sciences required.
  • 2+ years of proven experience in microbiology, with NYS Clinical Laboratory Technologist License required.
  • ASCP certification preferred.
