Senior Microbiologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Microbiologist to join our team at AmplifyBio. As a key member of our Quality Control department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety in our laboratory operations.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine environment and utilities monitoring, sampling, and testing to ensure compliance with FDA Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and other regulatory guidelines.
- Conduct microbiological test procedures, including sterility and bioburden testing, for GMP in-process and product lot release.
- Contribute to the maintenance and improvement of QC laboratory operations, including the development and implementation of new procedures and systems.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and management to ensure seamless laboratory operations and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant biological science, such as Microbiology, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry laboratory or academic setting.
- Proven experience in microbiology, environmental/utilities/personnel monitoring methods, and laboratory operations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
