About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and charismatic Front Desk Agent to join our dynamic team at the Holiday Inn Express Pittsburgh. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, handling room reservations, and managing the overall flow of the front desk area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver outstanding guest service, responding to their needs and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Manage room reservations, check-ins, and check-outs, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Maintain a high level of knowledge about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions to provide personalized recommendations to guests.
  • Process payments, handle cash and credit transactions, and maintain a secure and organized cash drawer.
  • Perform administrative tasks, such as data entry, filing, and basic accounting duties.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in hospitality or a related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in a hotel or customer service setting an asset.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
  • Possess a positive and upbeat attitude, with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office software.

Salary Range: $14.50-$17.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
