Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our team at OnPoint Medical Group. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare professionals in delivering high-quality medical services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist healthcare professionals with patient examinations and treatments, performing point-of-care tests and documenting vital signs.
  • Prepare patients for healthcare visits, obtain medical histories, and verify patient information.
  • Document patient information accurately and efficiently in the electronic medical record.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control and safety protocols.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to patient inquiries and addressing concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and efficient clinic operations.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; graduate of an accredited healthcare program (e.g., Medical Assistant, CNA, LPN, EMT) preferred.
  • Current certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or equivalent preferred.
  • Strong computer skills and experience with electronic medical records (EMRs) a plus.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on patient-centered care.
