Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at OnPoint Medical Group. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare professionals in delivering high-quality services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist healthcare providers with examination and treatment of patients, performing tasks such as taking vital signs, preparing patients for exams, and documenting medical history.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical history, allergies, and medications.
  • Conduct point-of-care tests and procedures as authorized by state regulations and provider orders.
  • Ensure a safe and clean environment by disinfecting treatment rooms and maintaining inventory of medical supplies.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to patient inquiries and addressing concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers and other staff members to ensure seamless patient care and efficient clinic operations.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; graduation from an accredited healthcare program (e.g., Medical Assistant, CNA, LPN, EMT) preferred.
  • Current certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or equivalent preferred.
  • Strong computer skills and experience with electronic medical records (EMRs) preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and maintain accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with patients, providers, and other staff members.
