Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant Supervisor to join our team at OnPoint Medical Group. As a key member of our clinical team, you will be responsible for supervising Medical Assistants, creating and maintaining scheduling, and ensuring the smooth operation of our medical office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and mentor Medical Assistants to ensure excellent patient care and high-quality services.
  • Develop and implement scheduling strategies to optimize staff utilization and patient flow.
  • Collaborate with Practice Manager to address personnel issues, conduct performance evaluations, and provide coaching and development opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, CLIA, and HIPAA standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a positive public relations image.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
  • Minimum 3 years of Medical Assistant experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
  • Nationally recognized certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) preferred.
  • Strong computer skills, with experience in EMR systems.
  • Current BLS certification.
