Position Responsibilities:

A Certified Behavioral Consultant (CBC) delivers intensive therapeutic services in various settings, including home, community, and educational environments. Under the guidance of the Clinical Manager, the CBC directs clinical services for assigned cases, revises Individual Treatment Plans (ITPs), and ensures effective implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership: Coordinate clinical treatment direction in collaboration with families and treatment professionals.
  • Planning: Engage in performance improvement initiatives and develop treatment plans based on evaluations.
  • Monitoring: Ensure compliance with regulations and track progress on treatment goals.
  • Direct Service: Provide individual and group psychotherapy, as well as case management.
  • Communication: Maintain regular contact with families and stakeholders regarding client progress.
  • Documentation: Record all therapy sessions and case management activities in a timely manner.
  • Networking: Collaborate with various stakeholders to meet the needs of clients.

Essential Skills:

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to assess treatment needs and apply appropriate interventions.
  • Knowledge of behavioral health systems and therapeutic models.
  • Conflict resolution and culturally competent response skills.
  • Experience in psychosocial assessment and treatment planning.

Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in a clinical mental health discipline with relevant practicum experience.
  • Certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or equivalent.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in the mental health field, particularly with children and families.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and mobility.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
