Job Title: Lead Behavior Consultant

Job Summary:

Northern Children's Services is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Behavior Consultant to join our team. As a Lead Behavior Consultant, you will be responsible for supervising the provision of Intensive Behavioral Health Services (IBHS) and ensuring that our programs meet the highest standards of quality and excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and support Behavioral Consultants and Behavioral Health Technicians in delivering superior service
  • Monitor census and staffing for programs to ensure compliance with requirements
  • Provide clinical direction and oversight of services for each child on the caseload
  • Develop and implement Individualized Treatment Plans (ITPs) and revise as needed
  • Collaborate with schools, families, and other agencies to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Document all therapy sessions, case management activities, and other relevant information

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in a clinical mental health discipline and completed clinical or MH practicum
  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification or behavioral analysis certification
  • At least one year of full-time paid experience in the mental health field
  • Excellent working knowledge of clinical issues relating to children, adolescents, and families
  • Familiarity with multiple child-serving systems

Physical Capabilities and Work Environment:

  • Ability to walk up and down stairs
  • Ability to lift 20 lbs
  • Ability to operate a computer, printer, and calculator
  • Ability to operate a motor vehicle or access public transportation
