About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Day Habilitation Specialist to join our team at The Minute Man Arc for Human Services Inc. As a key member of our inter-disciplinary team, you will play a vital role in supporting the goals and aspirations of individuals with developmental and other disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and conduct functional and therapeutic groups, activities, and classes focused on skill acquisition, physical therapy, motor skills, social skills, and overall quality of life.
  • Work collaboratively with therapists, case managers, medical, and direct care staff to develop and implement individualized plans.
  • Provide hands-on care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities, including feeding, toileting, and behavioral interventions.
  • Drive 16-passenger vans daily to transport individuals to and from activities and appointments.
Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year experience working or volunteering with individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
  • Ability to pass a 10-panel drug screen.
  • Acceptable background check, including criminal history background check.
