Registration Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Registration Clerk to join our team at Washington Hospital. As a key member of our admissions team, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless patient registration and billing processes.
Key Responsibilities- Gather and verify patient information, including demographic and insurance data
- Process patient registrations, including collecting deposits and co-payments
- Accurately identify and screen patients for necessary forms and documentation
- Interact with patients, staff, and vendors in a professional and courteous manner
- Meet productivity and quality standards for registration and billing processes
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Completion of college-level medical terminology course preferred
- Minimum 6 months to 1 year of experience in a registration or medical office setting
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with Epic Software and Centricity Practice Manager
- Typing speed of 25 wpm or higher
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience with Windows Operating System and Windows-based programs
