Job Title: Patient Service Representative

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Service Representative to join our team at NorCal Imaging Centers. As a Patient Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our patients, ensuring a positive experience from the moment they arrive at our facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greeting and Registration: Greet and register patients in a friendly and service-oriented manner, ensuring all necessary information is collected and accurate.
  • Insurance and Documentation: Obtain or verify proper insurance and patient information, collect signatures, and ensure accuracy and completion of necessary documentation.
  • Co-Pays and Fees: Collect and log all co-pays and fees in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Phone Calls and Scheduling: Answer and transfer incoming phone calls, schedule, reschedule, or cancel new or current patients, and confirm appointments as needed.
  • Patient Orientation: Provide patients with appropriate orientation for preparatory and safety protocols, and offer directions to facilities if necessary.
  • Back-Office Coordination: Coordinate with back-office staff to ensure timely and effective care of patients.

Requirements:

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED.
  • Computer Skills: Intermediate to advanced computer skills.
  • Communication Skills: Strong multitasking and communication skills, with the ability to remain professional in all situations.
  • Customer Service Experience: Experience providing exceptional customer service, with a genuine passion for delivering world-class service.
  • Medical Terminology: Medical terminology knowledge and recent medical/radiology office experience is preferred.

Pay and Benefits: Competitive hourly rate of $26.00, with opportunities for advancement and professional growth.

Shift and Schedule: Mornings, with the possibility of shift variations.
