About the Role

The District Sales Representative is a key position at McKee Foods Corporation, responsible for driving sales growth and building strong relationships with independent wholesale distributors and retailers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to grow sales of snack cake products with independent distributors and retailers.
  • Build and maintain strong business relationships with distributors and retailers through regular communication and sales assistance.
  • Recruit and appoint quality candidates for distributorships and provide orientation to new independent distributors.
  • Act as a liaison between McKee Foods and independent distributors, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Develop and implement business plans with independent distributors to drive sales growth and improve profitability.
  • Monitor and analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute sales promotions and marketing initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including FSO practices and procedures.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of account management and sales leadership experience in the food and beverage or grocery industry.
  • Territory runs from Emory south to Crockett, and Canton and Athens east to Tyler. Job holder needs to live in the district or be willing and able to relocate upon accepting a job offer.
  • Ability to develop accounts and build rapport with new and existing clients and distributors.
  • Solid MS Office skills and ability to work from home.
  • Early riser – days typically start at 4:00 AM.
  • Clear driver's record.
  • Advanced degree, training, or military experience is highly preferred.
