Job SummaryWe are seeking a compassionate and skilled Hospice Chaplain to join our team. As a Full-Time Hospice Chaplain, you will provide spiritual support and care to patients and their families, working closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement personalized care plans.
Responsibilities- Provide spiritual support and care to patients and their families, including counseling, prayer, and ministry as needed.
- Participate in developing and implementing interdisciplinary care plans that address the spiritual needs of patients and their families.
- Visit patients and families to assess their spiritual needs and provide support and guidance.
- Collaborate with community spiritual leaders to provide support and resources to patients and their families.
- Assist in training and education of hospice staff, volunteers, and community members on spiritual care and support.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in theology, religion, human services, counseling, psychology, or sociology.
- One unit of Association of Clinical Pastoral Education, Inc. (ACPE)-accredited CPE.
- Two years of active work in spiritual care ministry/program, one unit of pastoral education (per state requirements, if indicated), and demonstrated ability to work with patients, families, and community spiritual leaders of various denominations/beliefs.
