About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Hospice Chaplain to join our team at Haven Hospice, a part of BrightSpring Health Services. As a Hospice Chaplain, you will play a vital role in providing spiritual care and support to patients and their families, ensuring they receive the highest level of care and service.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct spiritual assessments of patients and families, providing direct spiritual care as needed
  • Develop and implement individualized plans of care to meet the spiritual needs of patients
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care and support
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of services provided
  • Participate in patient care conferences and interdisciplinary group meetings
  • Provide funeral or memorial services for patients as requested
  • Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited theology or chaplaincy program (BD, MDiv, or equivalent)
  • Experience working with death and dying, with hospice experience preferred
  • Comfort in an interfaith setting and ability to accept different lifestyles, cultures, beliefs, and values
  • Knowledge of and commitment to hospice philosophy of care
