Overview
Henrico Doctors' Hospital Forest is seeking a dedicated Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team. As a vital part of our patient care team, you will coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered respiratory care in accordance with the nature and specific requirements of the department.
Responsibilities
- Initiate, operate, monitor, and wean patients with mechanical ventilators, high frequency, and oscillatory ventilators.
- Administer all therapy modalities to Adult, Neonatal, and Pediatric patients per physician's orders.
- Perform airway clearance therapy, including VEST.
- Perform basic operations on the Meditech system.
Requirements
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 30 days of employment start date.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of employment start date.
- Neonate Resuscitate certification within 30 days of employment start date.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within 30 days of employment start date.
- STABLE certification within 1 year.
- RRT/Respiratory Care Practitioner (RRT/RCP) certification.
- State Registered Respiratory Therapist certification.
