Position Overview
As a Lead Test Engineering Specialist, you will oversee a group of engineers engaged in comprehensive testing activities for Safety Instrumentation and Control Systems associated with Commercial Nuclear Plant equipment.

Key Responsibilities
Your role will encompass the planning, management, and leadership of a team responsible for system and integrated functional testing of deliverable plant equipment. Specific duties include:

  • Formulating test strategies for Instrumentation and Control Systems.
  • Guiding engineers in developing test procedures based on System Design and Software Requirements.
  • Conducting Logic diagram analysis to create test cases.
  • Planning and leading the execution of test programs.
  • Drafting, reviewing, and distributing test reports.
  • Assisting in root cause analysis of defects and managing defect tracking.
  • Maintaining project schedules related to testing activities.
  • Ensuring requirements traceability to specific test cases.
  • Creating detailed schedules and budgets for testing as part of larger projects.
  • Evaluating team performance and facilitating professional development.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Computer, or a related Engineering field.
  • A Master’s degree in Engineering or an MBA is advantageous.
  • A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.

Experience
Demonstrated experience in leading and participating in system testing, verification and validation inspections, embedded I&C systems, logic design, I&C design, or software design is preferred.
