Your Responsibilities

As a Culinary Specialist, you will ensure that guests receive exceptional food quality and service in a welcoming atmosphere. You are dedicated to crafting high-quality dishes that meet our restaurant's standards. Building strong relationships with your colleagues is essential, as you will serve as an ambassador for our culinary offerings, creating memorable experiences for our guests.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Adhere to departmental policies and restaurant regulations as outlined in the employee handbook.
  • Report maintenance needs to the Executive Chef promptly.
  • Implement proper sanitation practices to prevent food spoilage and contamination, ensuring compliance with health regulations.
  • Consistently follow standard portion sizes, cooking methods, and quality standards.
  • Maintain adequate stock levels of food products at workstations to facilitate smooth service.
  • Keep your work area clean and sanitary, including all kitchen equipment.
  • Present all food to guests with excellent quality and presentation.
  • Prepare and execute menu items according to established specifications.
  • Ensure timely food production and educate staff on menu items.
  • Assist in the daily cleaning of kitchen areas.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills are essential for high-quality food production.
  • Proficiency in various cooking techniques, including sautéing, frying, and grilling.
  • Ability to perform at a high level during all meal periods.
  • Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Food Handler Certification is required.
  • Trained in knife skills and basic kitchen equipment usage.
  • Ability to multitask effectively under pressure.
  • Flexible availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
