Job Title: Advanced Respiratory Care Specialist

Nurse First is seeking an experienced Advanced Respiratory Care Specialist for a 13-week travel assignment in the Dallas, Texas area.

About the Job:

This advanced respiratory care specialist will be working as part of a dynamic healthcare team to provide high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will have expertise in administering respiratory therapies and treatments, as well as experience with pulmonary diagnostics and disease management.

The selected candidate will work on a 12-hour night shift schedule, ensuring seamless continuity of care and support to patients requiring complex respiratory interventions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer respiratory therapies and treatments as ordered by physicians.
  • Care for patients with acute and chronic respiratory conditions, including asthma, COPD, and pneumonia.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient treatments and outcomes.
Salary and Benefits:

We are offering a competitive salary package for this position, estimated to be around $120,000 per year, based on 36 hours worked per week. Additionally, we offer a range of benefits, including mileage reimbursement, referral bonuses, and comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage.

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, applicants must have at least one year of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist, preferably in a hospital setting. A valid license to practice in the state of employment and certification from a recognized professional organization are also required.
