**Estimated Salary:** $80,000 - $110,000 per year
**Job Description:
As a Certified Respiratory Therapist at Methodist Charlton Medical Center, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care in our respiratory therapy department. Your responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Performing diagnostic testing and pulmonary care procedures according to physician orders and evidence-based protocols
- Communicating effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Providing education and support to patients and their families
**Required Skills and Qualifications:**
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:
- A current license in good standing as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) by the state of Texas
- Basic Life Support certification
- Advanced Cardio Life Support, NRP, Pediatric Advanced Life Support certifications where applicable
- Certification by the National Board for Respiratory Care, with Registry eligibility and Registered status within 6 months of hire
- At least 6 months of respiratory care experience
