Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Director to lead our team of healthcare professionals. As a Medical Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the medical operations of our skilled nursing facilities, ensuring high-quality patient care and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide medical direction and oversight to our healthcare teams, ensuring that patients receive high-quality care.
  • Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with our Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to manage day-to-day resident care.
  • Diagnose and treat patients with acute and chronic illnesses, including bacterial and viral infections, hypertension, heart disease, and diabetes.
  • Document patient care in our proprietary electronic health record system, ChartEasy.
  • Participate in our Chronic Care Management, Transitional Care, RPM, and other medical quality initiatives and programs.
  • Supervise collaborating nurse practitioners and physician assistants.
  • Utilize electronic/online medical tools, such as EHR systems and state/county medical systems, for administrative functions.
Requirements
  • Must be a licensed physician with experience in medical direction and leadership.
  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends.
