Key Responsibilities- Provide medical direction and oversight to our healthcare teams, ensuring that patients receive high-quality care.
- Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with our Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to manage day-to-day resident care.
- Diagnose and treat patients with acute and chronic illnesses, including bacterial and viral infections, hypertension, heart disease, and diabetes.
- Document patient care in our proprietary electronic health record system, ChartEasy.
- Participate in our Chronic Care Management, Transitional Care, RPM, and other medical quality initiatives and programs.
- Supervise collaborating nurse practitioners and physician assistants.
- Utilize electronic/online medical tools, such as EHR systems and state/county medical systems, for administrative functions.
- Must be a licensed physician with experience in medical direction and leadership.
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends.
