Exercise Physiologist

Job Summary:

The Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation Clinical Exercise Physiologist provides high-quality exercise management of patients in collaboration with the Medical Director at Iredell Memorial Hospital.

Responsibilities:

• Provides exercise management of patients in collaboration with the Medical Director.
• Has full access to patient information.
• Requirements include a Master's Degree in Exercise Science/Exercise Physiology or other health-related field, American College of Sports Medicine Certified Clinical Exercise Physiologist (CEP) or Registered Clinical Exercise Physiologist (RCEP) certification, and a minimum of two years experience in Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation.
• Must possess full range of body motion to pass basic FIT test for position and be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.

Requirements:

• A Master's Degree in Exercise Science/Exercise Physiology or other health-related field.
• American College of Sports Medicine Certified Clinical Exercise Physiologist (CEP) or Registered Clinical Exercise Physiologist (RCEP) certification.
• A minimum of two years experience in Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation.
• Current BCLS (Health Care Provider) and ACLS certification.

Working Conditions:

The Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation Clinical Exercise Physiologist has full access to patient information and must be able to carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body, weighting 21 to 50 pounds occasionally, and/or 11 to 20 pounds frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds constantly.
