Job Summary

Bead Industries, Inc. is a growing manufacturer seeking an experienced Accounting Specialist to manage our day-to-day administrative operations and ensure the accuracy of our financial records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Office Management:
    • Manage general office duties such as answering phones, handling mail, ordering supplies, and maintaining office equipment.
    • Provide administrative support to the management team, including scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and handling correspondence.
    • Oversee office organization and cleanliness, ensuring a productive and efficient work environment.
    • Assist with HR tasks such as onboarding new employees, maintaining employee records, and coordinating company events.
  • Accounting:
    • Maintain accurate financial records using accounting software.
    • Process accounts payable (AP) by entering and paying vendor invoices.
    • Manage accounts receivable (AR), including invoicing customers and following up on outstanding payments.
    • Reconcile bank statements and ensure the accuracy of financial transactions.
    • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in accounting / bookkeeping, etc.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong understanding of basic bookkeeping principles and practices.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of payroll processing and HR functions.
