Lead Financial Operations Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Lead Financial Operations Specialist to join our team at Micro Tech Staffing Group in Franklin. This role will provide financial support to the organization, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial operations.
Job Overview
As a Lead Financial Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for performing various accounting tasks to support the financial operations of the organization. This includes processing daily sales invoices, maintaining and reconciling general ledger accounts, and preparing journal entries.
Responsibilities
- Financial Operations: Process daily sales invoices, maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, and prepare journal entries.
- Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
- Inventory Management: Oversee inventory accuracy, including cycle counts and full inventory analysis.
- Vendor Management: Process various vendor claims and assist in lease management and processing tenant rent.
- Financial Reporting: Assist in financial statement consolidation between various business units and provide support to other departments as needed.
- Process Improvement: Assist in maintaining internal controls and developing new processes.
- Compliance: Comply with sales and use tax regulations.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, preferred.
- Experience: GAAP experience: 1 year minimum.
- Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ability to learn various software ERPs, strong communication and analytical skills, excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
What We Offer
Our team at Micro Tech Staffing Group in Franklin offers a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience. We also offer a benefits package, including health insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
