Position Title: Interim Senior Accountant

Position Overview:

The Senior Accountant is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data by meticulously recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions. Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting thorough bank reconciliation cleanup.
  • Performing intercompany account analysis across various entities.
  • Updating year-to-date schedules and preparing financial entries related to assets, liabilities, revenues, and expenses by compiling and analyzing account data.
  • Maintaining and balancing subsidiary accounts through verification, allocation, posting, and reconciliation of transactions, while resolving any discrepancies.
  • Overseeing the general ledger by transferring subsidiary accounts, preparing trial balances, and reconciling entries.
  • Summarizing financial status by gathering information and preparing balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other essential financial documents.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in accounting.
  • Experience in public accounting or within a large organization managing multiple entities.
  • Proficiency in intercompany account analysis.
  • Expertise in bank reconciliations and financial statement preparation.
  • Strong background in financial reporting and month-end closing processes.

Job Type: This is a contract role with a duration of 2+ months, with the possibility of extension.

Work Arrangement: This position offers a hybrid work schedule, combining both on-site and remote work.
