Head of Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

Okta, Inc. is seeking a seasoned financial leader to join our team as Head of Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A). This key role will partner with senior leadership to drive financial objectives, identify risks and opportunities, and build strategic partnerships across functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead quarterly outlook and monthly financial income statement and cash flow forecast processes to provide added visibility and transparency around key operating metrics.
  • Drive the financial long-range planning (LRP) and annual budgeting processes to achieve the overall company strategy, partnering with key stakeholders across FP&A, Operations, and Corporate Strategy.
  • Conduct ad-hoc analyses and present findings clearly to executive leadership team members.
  • Partner with Finance Transformation, Business Technology (IT), and Data & Insights on systems/tools roadmaps, process improvements, reporting, and analytics to prioritize and improve forecasting, planning, and other vital areas.
  • Be a strategic financial partner to the CFO, FP&A Leadership, and IR Leadership.
  • Lead a corporate FP&A team of 15 based in the US and India, with a focus on coaching and managing for performance, career development, and attracting and retaining talent.
Requirements:
  • 15+ years of relevant FP&A experience, with at least 5 years directly managing people and teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related Business field; MBA a plus.
  • Deep experience in public company SaaS/software, with a command of the SaaS industry and related metrics.
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, communication, and business partnering skills, with a track record of collaborating across organizational functions and levels.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to simplify complex information and make informed decisions.
  • Proficient in Excel/Gsheet and able to create executive-level presentations in PowerPoint/GSlides.
