About Sound Physicians:

Sound Physicians is a physician-founded and led medical group that operates in over 400 hospitals across 45 states. With a focus on emergency and hospital medicine, critical care, anesthesia, and telemedicine, the company has a reputation for innovation and leadership in the healthcare industry.

About the Role:

The Director of Finance will play a critical role in managing financial reporting and analytics functions for four service lines: Accountable Care Organization, Telemedicine, Advisory Services, and Value-Based Care. This individual will work closely with business leadership and other centralized functions to build and manage the infrastructure necessary for the success of these business lines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead the service line budgeting, forecasting, and planning process, partnering with key stakeholders to develop an understanding of business unit risks and opportunities.
  • Decision Support: Develop and manage decision support tools, conducting financial impact analysis to support decisions and measure results.
  • Performance Management: Manage key performance indicators in partnership with service line leadership, developing reports and supporting documentation on service line financial performance.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or Finance.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Analytical, data-driven decision maker with strong financial modeling, Excel, and presentation skills.
  • Highly organized with the ability to lead large projects and processes.
