Job Summary

CCARC INC is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Direct Support Professional to provide high-quality care and support to individuals with special needs in a residential setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct care and support to participants with special needs, including assistance with daily living activities, personal care, and medication administration.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with participants, families, and healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care and support.
  • Collaborate with the care team to identify and address the needs of participants, and develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Ensure a safe and healthy environment for participants, and maintain accurate records of care and services provided.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in providing care and support to individuals with special needs.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
