Job Title: Direct Support Professional

CCARC INC is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Direct Support Professional to join our team. As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a vital role in providing direct care to individuals with special needs, enabling them to live their best lives.

Job Summary:

The Direct Support Professional will be responsible for providing guidance and support to individuals with special needs, facilitating transportation, and assisting with daily living activities. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of others.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct care to individuals with special needs, including assistance with daily living activities, transportation, and personal care.
  • Facilitate communication between individuals, family members, guardians, and healthcare providers.
  • Assist with medication administration, vital sign monitoring, and other health-related tasks.
  • Participate in social and recreational activities, and provide education on personal hygiene, grooming, and behavioral conduct.
  • Collaborate with the team to resolve conflicts, obstacles, and challenges.
  • Adhere to universal precautions, OSHA standards, and infection control policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid Driver's License and insurable with Agency carrier.
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
  • Experience with Microsoft products and email.
  • Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
