Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Direct Support Professional to join our team at CCARC INC. As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a vital role in providing direct care to individuals with special needs in a residential setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personalized care and support to participants, including assistance with daily living activities, personal care, and hygiene.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with participants, families, and external healthcare providers.
  • Coordinate and lead social and recreational activities, as well as shopping for food and clothing.
  • Manage household petty cash, food, and house money, and record the use of these resources according to CCARC policies.
  • Respond to emergency situations and demonstrate knowledge of emergency procedures.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid Driver's License and insurable with Agency carrier.
  • Ability to complete Agency's Employee Training and become trained in CPR, First Aid, PMT, and DDS Medication Administration.
  • Experience with Microsoft products and use of email.
  • Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
