Job Overview:

The Professional Services Manager is tasked with ensuring the effective delivery of solutions tailored to meet the specific needs of clients within the healthcare sector.

  • Project Management: Formulate comprehensive project plans, establish timelines, and allocate budgets to guarantee the successful and timely execution of projects.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with team members, stakeholders, and clients to facilitate a smooth transition from project inception to delivery.
  • Contract Oversight: Manage the process of contractual agreements, including the development of Statements of Work (SOW).
  • Business Analysis: Conduct detailed assessments of business processes and requirements to inform project direction.
  • Continuous Improvement: Gather feedback and document insights from completed projects to enhance future engagements.
  • Sales Support: Collaborate with the Sales team as necessary to assist with project estimations and respond to customer inquiries.
  • Team Leadership: Provide guidance, coaching, and leadership to team members to foster a productive work environment.
  • Travel Requirements: Willingness to travel up to 25% as needed.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Perform other duties that align with the overarching goals of the position.
Educational Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • Alternatively, a combination of education and experience that meets the necessary qualifications for the role.
Experience Requirements:
  • A minimum of 7 years in project management or program implementation within professional services, or in a client-facing capacity.
  • Proven experience across all stages of a client software implementation lifecycle, including needs analysis, project management, software installation, on-site training, and systems troubleshooting.
Licenses/Certifications:
  • NextGen NCP Certification in EHR or EPM and DM is required within 6 months of employment.
  • Ongoing maintenance and renewal of certification is expected.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Knowledge: A strong grasp of the professional services landscape, including both internal and partner-provided services, and implementation strategies that foster long-term customer loyalty.
  • In-depth understanding of the healthcare industry, including key areas such as Revenue Cycle Management, Clinical/Patient Care Operations, Best Practices Processes and Workflows, Analytics, and relevant legislation.
  • Skills: Exceptional operational management, project management, and communication abilities, along with analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Abilities: Capacity to lead cross-functional collaboration, manage complex projects, and convey intricate technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
