Position Overview:

The Patient Care Coordinator acts as the primary contact for patients and the community on behalf of the Center. Key responsibilities encompass: greeting all individuals entering the Center, ensuring comfort for patients and visitors, and proactively addressing the needs of our clientele. This role involves managing phone communications, directing incoming calls to the correct personnel, scheduling patient appointments, processing payments at the time of service, and aiding in the insurance verification process.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent is mandatory
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a Customer Service capacity
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records is essential
  • Previous experience in a Medical Office setting is advantageous
  • Capacity to handle multiple tasks in a dynamic environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, with strong typing skills; basic computer literacy required
  • Ability to work autonomously with limited oversight
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
