The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Clinical Business Analyst to join our team. As a Clinical Business Analyst, you will work closely with users to provide software support services, understand clinical and business workflows, document functional requirements, execute test scripts, and user acceptance testing.

This role is primarily focused on supporting clinical users of Brigham and Women's Hospital and its affiliate locations. You will act as a key liaison between the operational and clinical community and Enterprise teams, using your knowledge of application functionality, system processes, and clinical workflows to provide exceptional customer support and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality service to users, according to defined service level agreements.
  • Create and run reports as needed using tools such as Epic Reporting Workbench.
  • Document and analyze business processes and workflows to help drive business process improvements and ensure accurate system configuration.
  • Produce specification documents with guidance from senior staff.
  • Assist with developing and executing user acceptance testing plans, including creation of test cases.
  • Communicate status of various team efforts to leadership and other stakeholders, including preparing presentations in collaboration with senior staff.
  • Participate in team meetings to discuss team and project activities, issues, changes, and communications.
  • Assist in identifying and recommending best practices for business analysis, training, and end-user support functions.
  • Use recognized project management tools and methodologies.
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • 3+ years of healthcare information technology experience.
  • A combination of education and experience may be substituted for requirements.
Skills and Abilities

You will need:

  • Epic experience in one of the above clinical applications desired.
  • Experience in the development, support, or operation of software applications in a healthcare setting.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical staff.
  • Demonstrated analytic and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to learn quickly.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and other popular office productivity solutions.
Work Environment

This role will require:

  • M-F Eastern Business Hours Onsite Assembly Row and MGB Brigham sites, 2x a week and more or less as needed for business needs.
  • Meetings in Somerville and will specifically support Brigham and their affiliate locations, Francis St Boston and other Boston Sites.
  • Requires Travel to Mass General Brigham sites. May also require travel for training.
  • On-call coverage expected as business needs dictate.
