Healthcare Patient Liaison

Position Overview:

As we expand our presence across the United States, GoHealth Urgent Care is focused on delivering exceptional care in various metropolitan areas.
The Patient Services Coordinator acts as the first point of contact for patients and visitors, embodying the welcoming spirit of our Center. Key responsibilities include: greeting all individuals entering the facility, ensuring comfort for patients and visitors, and proactively addressing the needs of our clientele. This role encompasses managing phone communications, directing calls to the appropriate personnel, scheduling appointments, processing payments at the time of service, and assisting with insurance verification.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent is mandatory
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a customer service capacity
- Familiarity with electronic medical records is essential
- Previous experience in a medical office setting is preferred
- Capability to handle multiple tasks in a dynamic environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, with strong typing skills; basic computer literacy required
- Ability to work autonomously with minimal oversight
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
