Job Title: Business Development Partner

At VetJobs, we are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Partner to join our team. As a key member of our Customer Management team, you will be responsible for creating and managing a portfolio of accounts, generating new business, and driving revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute sales plans to achieve annual new business revenue and new customer goals
  • Proactively develop a new portfolio of clients through business referrals, prospecting, and business-to-business selling
  • Analyze profitability of prospects and report to business leaders to enable informed decision-making
  • Maintain a complete understanding of competitive influences and risks within each account
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3 years of sales industry-related experience
  • Basic understanding of business and project management fundamentals
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to manage customers and foster cross-departmental collaboration
  • Extensive computer knowledge and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree with coursework in business and/or marketing or equivalent job-related experience
  • Track record of success in selling transportation solutions to shippers and 3PL logistics companies
Work Environment:

This role will require up to 75% travel, and you will be based in Charlotte, NC, US, 28273.
