Accounts Payable Specialist

Join our team at Seminole Hard Rock Support Services as an Accounts Payable Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for processing invoices with high accuracy, ensuring timely payments to vendors, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process and verify invoices received from internal team members and vendors.
  • Interface with employees and vendors to resolve discrepancies and ensure accurate payments.
  • Run and send remittances to vendors for payments made.
  • Reconcile AP statements to prevent credit holds.
  • Communicate with vendors regarding short pays and resolve issues.
  • Assist with GL breakdown of large company-wide invoices.
  • Exercise analysis, problem-solving, and decision-making skills to drive efficiencies and controls.
Requirements:
  • Two or more years of clerical/office experience.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Word and Excel.
  • Proficient in Power Point Presentations.
  • Ability to add, multiply, divide, and calculate weighted averages and percentages.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Personable and ready to offer quality service to staff, vendors, and guests.
