Job Title: Technical Lead (Dotnet and SQL Server)

Work Location: Hartford, CT (Hybrid – Onsite)

Required Experience: 10 Years

Technical Skills:

  • Database Technologies: SQL, MS SQL Server, Relational Databases, Stored procedures, Views, Index, bulk copy, SQL CMD, and handling dynamic queries
  • Microsoft Technologies: C Sharp, VB, Dotnet, Console Application, ADONET, ASPNET, Visual Studio 2022
  • Scripting: Windows Batch Script and PowerShell
  • Insurance domain knowledge is a must

Technical Skills (Secondary, Nice to have NOT MANDATORY):

  • Knowledge of React, ASPNET Core MVC
  • JIRA or Rally or any other equivalent tools
  • GitHub or any other equivalent version control
  • Familiar with Autosys or any scheduling tool
  • Familiar in Jenkin, UCD, CICD, or experience in equivalent tools
  • Familiar with Snowflake or Teradata
  • Any experience in interacting with mainframe systems

Soft Skills:

  • Ability to translate business requirements to low-level design and technical solutions and present to a larger group
  • Experience in conducting Design and Code Reviews
  • Experience in working in Agile Development Methodologies
  • Experience in batch cycle monitoring and doing production support are advantageous
  • As this is an onsite role, must have strong written and oral communication skills
  • Insurance Domain Knowledge is must
  • Strong ability to work with client stakeholders across multiple departments
  • Requirement Review and Work Effort Estimation
  • Experience onsite and offshore model and provide technical leadership to offshore
