Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage store staff to ensure excellent customer service and retail operations
  • Plan and implement inventory management strategies to optimize stock levels and reduce waste
  • Develop and execute promotional plans to increase sales and drive business growth
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives and improve operational efficiency
  • Empower blind and visually impaired individuals to achieve their maximum level of gainful employment and career development

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of retail operations experience, preferably in a military or federal government environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and apply policies and procedures
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
  • Knowledge of retail operations software and systems, including point of sale systems and inventory management tools

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a military environment and familiarity with federal government regulations and policies
  • Knowledge of AbilityOne and Federal Base Supply Store customer requirements
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, customers, and agency personnel
