Job Summary

US Water Services Corporation is a leading water and wastewater utility organization seeking a skilled Water/Wastewater Operator to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining water treatment facilities, ensuring the delivery of high-quality water to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain water treatment facilities, including processing and testing equipment, to meet permit and operational requirements.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose operational problems, taking corrective action as needed.
  • Monitor flow meters, gauges, flow ratios, pressures, and related controls through instrument panels and programmable logic control units.
  • Record operating conditions, observations, and data in area shift logs, ensuring conformance to process specifications.
  • Perform routine and preventative maintenance, as well as maintenance-related items, as assigned.
  • Conduct field laboratory tests to pace chemical dosages for efficient process control.
  • Ensure strict compliance with safety and environmental requirements.
Requirements
  • Class C FDEP Water License and a C Waste Water Operator's License.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Clear criminal background.
