Responsibilities:
  • Collect and analyze data to ensure safe transportation and operation of equipment
  • Assess the condition of main line water valves and fire hydrants using advanced technologies and specialty tools
  • Conduct water main leak detection services to identify and repair leaks
  • Perform repairs on fire hydrants and water main valves to ensure optimal system performance
  • Maintain clean equipment and toolboxes to ensure efficient operations
Requirements:
  • Valid Driver's License with a good driving record
  • Ability to pass a thorough background check and pre-employment drug screen
  • 1+ year of experience in water distribution
  • Water certifications or ability to obtain certifications
  • Ability to walk on various terrain, work in confined spaces, bend, squat, and lift/carry up to 50 pounds
  • Preference for hands-on roles and working outside in all types of weather
  • Ability to travel as needed, work weekends, and work some nights
