About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Services Assistant to join our team at Presbyterian Homes & Services. As a key member of our housekeeping services staff, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and comfort of our community.

Responsibilities
  • Perform general cleaning, floor care, and sanitizing duties to ensure a clean and safe environment for residents and staff.
  • Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, and report any issues to the Housekeeping Services Manager.
  • Restock supplies and linens, and ensure that equipment and tools are cleaned and stored properly.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and provide excellent customer service to residents and families.
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to improve skills and knowledge in housekeeping and sanitation practices.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with residents, staff, and families.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy equipment and supplies, and stand for long periods of time.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
