\helpers, Massachusetts-based Brookdale Quincy Bay offers a competitive base salary plus commission. The estimated annual salary for this position is around $95,000 to $115,000 depending on experience and qualifications.\Job Overview\\_The Sales & Marketing Director position involves working with the Executive Director and District Director of Sales to improve occupancy at our community. As our Sales & Marketing Director, you will partner with them to develop referral sources and bring in new residents. You will receive a % of the revenue you produce through commission opportunities.
\Responsibilities\\_Maintains and/or improves upon the occupancy level and revenue production of the community in accordance with the marketing and business plans. Develops and maintains relationships with and generates leads through residents, family, and professional referral sources. Plans, coordinates, and implements monthly prospect and/or referral source activities and events. Partners with Regional Sales management to develop and execute marketing plans and achieve community occupancy goals. Supervises the activities of at least two Full-time Equivalent (FTE) Marketing Coordinator(s) and/or Sales Counselor(s) to achieve the desired results of the community marketing and business plans.

- Maintains and/or improves upon the occupancy level of the community in accordance with the marketing and business plans of the community.\
- Closes sales by assisting prospective residents, their family members, and/or advisors in the decision-making process by understanding their needs and educating them about how services and programs can meet their needs. Responds promptly to every telephone call or in-person inquiry from all referral sources, prospective residents, and families. Provides appropriate community and company information to anyone who inquires.\
- Utilizes sales processes, systems, and forms for external and internal sales to perform job duties, track information, compile data and reports, and achieve desired community occupancy goals.\
- Completes outside Business Development sales calls to meet or exceed the established goals for professional leads per week as set by the community marketing plan with Regional Sales management guidance. Contact sources include legal and financial professionals, senior organizations, appropriate special interest groups, hospital discharge planners, skilled nursing facilities, retirement communities, clergy, medical insurance providers, and other local community contacts.\
- Develops and maintains relationships with and generates leads through residents, family, and professional referral sources on a weekly basis. Provides information and conducts presentations about services and programs, market advantages, availability, and other relevant information to meet the needs of prospective referral sources and community groups.\
- Plans, coordinates, and implements monthly prospect and/or referral source activities and events as specified by the community marketing plan, Executive Director, and Regional Sales management. Follows up and executes sales processes with all leads from events.\
- Partners with Regional Sales management to develop and execute marketing plans and achieve community occupancy goals. Researches and provides recommendations for content and delivery of brochures, flyers, press releases and other forms of media that promote the community services. Adheres to procedures in the development of advertising materials by working with Brookdale's Creative Services group.\
- Monitors conversion ratios regarding Business Development calls to direct referrals, prospect calls, and tours and collects and analyzes data to prepare weekly and monthly reports. Provides frequent sales performance issue information to Regional Sales management.\
- Maintains working knowledge of the lead management system and uses system to maximize sales effectiveness.\
- Supervises the activities of at least two FTEs, Marketing Coordinator(s) and/or Sales Counselor(s), to achieve the desired results of the community marketing and business plans.\
- Stays informed about industry trends and developments to make strategic decisions for improving occupancy and revenue growth.\
- Coordinates with the Community Relations team to ensure effective communication and collaboration between departments.\
- Collaborates with other department heads to develop and implement strategies to increase community engagement and occupancy.\
- Conducts regular performance reviews and provides feedback to ensure employees are meeting expectations and developing skills necessary for success.\
- Fosters a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes teamwork, open communication, and respect for all associates.\
- Identifies areas for process improvements and implements changes to increase efficiency and productivity.\
- Continuously evaluates and refines the community's sales and marketing strategy to stay ahead of competitors and meet changing resident needs.\
- Assists in the development and implementation of the community's annual marketing budget and ensures adherence to spending guidelines.\
- Promotes Brookdale Quincy Bay as a preferred provider of senior living services to potential residents, their families, and healthcare professionals.\
- Represents Brookdale Quincy Bay in local business and community organizations to build relationships and expand its reputation as a leader in senior care.\
- Responsible for staying current with regulations and compliance requirements related to senior living services and implementing policies and procedures accordingly.\
- Supports the Executive Director and other department heads in achieving community goals and objectives.\
- Performs other tasks and responsibilities as needed or assigned.\
- Gathers data and metrics to measure the success of marketing efforts and adjusts strategies accordingly.\
- Coaches and trains staff on sales techniques and product knowledge to ensure they are equipped to provide exceptional service to residents and prospects.\
- Manages multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and ensuring timely completion.\
- Evaluates and addresses customer complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner.\
- Effectively communicates with various stakeholders, including residents, family members, healthcare professionals, and other community representatives.\
- Analyzes data and research to inform marketing strategies and improve outcomes.\
- Demonstrates strong leadership skills, including the ability to motivate and inspire a team.\
- Builds strong relationships with key stakeholders, including residents, family members, healthcare professionals, and community leaders.\
- Ensures compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to resident rights, confidentiality, and HIPAA.\
- Remains knowledgeable about industry trends and best practices in senior living sales and marketing.\
- Develops and implements a comprehensive sales and marketing plan to drive occupancy and revenue growth.\
- Reviews and analyzes data to identify areas for improvement and optimize marketing strategies.\
- Maintains accurate records and reports to track progress and measure the effectiveness of marketing initiatives.\
- Works closely with the Regional Sales Manager to align sales and marketing efforts with community goals.\
- Communicates effectively with all levels of staff, residents, and external partners to ensure seamless execution of marketing strategies.\
